The castle, Oakley Court in Berkshire, where the film was shot, previously served as the location for the filming of several famous horror films, including "the Plague of the zombies" (1966). Castle is a country house in the Victorian style.
According to tradition, during a midnight screening of the film in the U.S. theaters, the audience actively participate in sight chorus repeat the replica of the movie characters before they will sound with a screen, some viewers bring items symbolizing a particular character, and "virgins" (that is, those of the spectators who have not participated in a midnight Orgy) welcomed the choir and are a kind of "initiation ritual".
In the original voice of Quentin Tarantino's pulp fiction (1994) one of the characters (not shown Rockamora Anthony bodyguard MIA Wallace, crippled by Marcellus Wallace), asked us to call him rocky Horror.
